Prayers for Sparrow Village

 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are all passed away"
Revelation 21:4

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."- Matt 7:24

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." Matthew 18:19

Prayer support is vital to the work of Sparrow Ministries. Our prayer team volunteers are the foundation of this ministry.

Over the past decade we have said farewell to hundreds of children - giving them dignity, peace and love.

With help, in prayers and/or donations, we give these patients the opportunity to live without pain or fear, we care for them medically, psychologically, socially, more importantly spiritually—we help them find a way out of despair so they can be in peace the last days of their lives.

Jesus spoke many times in His parables about planting and sowing seeds.

When you contribute to this ministry you are most certainly sowing a seed. This seed will be planted in fertile ground and will be tended with care. It will grow and help many pass with dignity, love and in caring arms...the Kingdom will see results.

"This is a village of hope,"

"We want our patients to have a dignified last couple of months on Earth and the very best that human nature can give to them," said Corine McClintock, executive director of Sparrow Ministries.

If we ignore these children simply because we cannot watch them die and because we see no value in their future, it is because we are not aware of the power of our civilization...the power of organizations and governments working together  toward this basic responsibility of humanity...

to give the world's children a place to live and die
with peace, love and without fear.

HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Refrain

I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Refrain

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Are we part of a civilized world ...

...if we can stand by and let these children die alone?
